General Description
Hydraulic systems need breathers to compensate the pendulum valum, that e.g. needs to be considered for differencial cylinders. Due to different cross-sectional area ratios of the piston in the one direction of motion there is more oil volume than in the other. This oil volume needs to be compensated by the tank and as a consequence air volume needs to be exchanged to prevent the tank from collapsing.
Function
Tank breathers vary in size, connection thread and filter option. Some breathers also offer a slight pre-pressureizing in order to always keep the reservoir unter constant over-pressure vs. the atmosphere.
Details
- Connection Thread: G1/2"
- Filter option: Integrated filter membrane
- Pressurizing: n.a.
- Filling option: by unscrewing the breather
