EDDIE Rippers FR02 to FR14 are robust excavator attachments designed for breaking, loosening and ripping hard ground and rock layers. They are particularly suitable for compacted soil, frozen ground, soft rock and weathered rock, assisting the excavator with subsequent excavation and loading operations.

Powerful Ripping Using Excavator Force

Unlike hydraulic breakers or vibrating attachments, EDDIE Rippers do not require a separate hydraulic operating function. The excavator's arm and bucket-cylinder force is transferred directly to the heavy-duty ripper tooth.

The narrow and robust tooth penetrates the ground and breaks or loosens compacted soil and rock layers. The loosened material can then be excavated and loaded using the excavator bucket.

This makes the ripper particularly useful in applications where conventional buckets cannot efficiently penetrate hard or heavily compacted ground.
