Function
Central core of the APV-valve program is the spool section. The connection block is needed to meet the demand of the different applications regarding ports and special functions. It is mounted on top of the spool section.
Details
The connection block "BL2F" for the APV22 series has got two 1 1/4" BSP ports for A and B, Moreover it comprises primary and secondary safety functions (CON.BLOCK 22 BL2F).The secundary safety functions act in the load pressure signal line, thus in case of overpressure (if the maximum load pressure is reached) just a small amount of oil from the load sense line is vented to tank at maximum pressure.This is in contrast with the primary relief valves, where the full userflow has to be vented to tank at maximum pressure. Secondary reliefs are only in function if the control valve is actuated.
Both ports can be set to an individual maximum load pressure setting (LS relief). The factory pressure setting (A-port first, then B-port) has to be mentioned in the order code (e.g. F=380/- bar or F=380/320 bar). The load pressure signal of each userport can be connected to sytem safety relief devices, through Ya and Yb (1/8"BSP).
Additionally the block can be equipped with shock and/or suctions valves, which need to be configured seperately.
The optional primary safety functions are active at the user port, even if the control section si not operated. The following 3 options are configurable, comprising shock valves and suction valves. The valves need to be ordered separately.
